Aztec Winter Wedding Inspiration
If you asked me to plan the ideal upbeat winter wedding, it would look exactly like this inspiration JBM Weddings and Ash Orzol. The duo wanted to design a winter wedding with a modern Aztec influence and plenty of awesome geometric and crystal touches, thanks to the team with Jove Meyer Events and 2H Flowers.
From the shoot designer, Ash Orzol: The inspiration behind the shoot was about bringing the Aztec/boho feel to an intimate upstate winter wedding. We wanted to keep things modern yet rustic so we weren’t taking away from the venue, because we wanted it to feel organic. I think it’s always best to make the wedding reflect the bride and groom but also be an extension of the surroundings.
We also wanted it to have an attainable DIY aspect to the wedding. We did this by creating handmade accents such as the painted utensils, the mobiles, the garlands and the dipped feathers for the ceremony. In order to really showcase what we each do as vendors, we decided to do an entire faux wedding instead of just doing a styled shoot.

is her wedding dress from rubicon nyc right? can you say which model? thanks.
Where are the masks from?? Please let me know – thanks!
Alright, that floor length cardigan the bride is wearing for their first look has been haunting me and yet I am having the darnest time trying to find a similar one or the correct description for searching!! Bridal robes for the etsy link no longer is accurate, and searching for bridal robes brings up a getting ready robe that I am not interested in. We will be having a Norther Michigan Fall wedding which means crisp fall evenings, I am a total cardigan wearer so this floor length version would be soooo me! Please if anyone is able to help in any way possible please share! Thank you all for your time and effort. Cheers to all!
