A Post-Elopement Reception at SmogShoppe

We’ve shared quite a few elopements on Ruffled through the years, but it’s not often we get to take a peek at the celebrations that follow once you come home and spread the news to friends and family. Tatiana and William chose to elope in Georgia, but celebrated back in Los Angeles with Aaron Young Photography, Constance Curtis, and Holly Flora in tow creating endless magic for all to see.

From the wedding planner, Constance Curtis Events: It was important to William (groom) and Tatiana (bride) to have a small intimate ceremony with only their immediate family. They did, however, still want to celebrate with all their extended family and friends. So as the wedding planning began, they decided to keep the intimate ceremony and the reception separate. The couple wed in Athens, Georgia and then celebrated their marriage at the SmogShoppe in Los Angeles, California, a few weeks later.

William and Tatiana wanted to create a fun party for all their friends traveling near and far. Many of their friends had never visited Los Angeles so picking a venue centrally located was important to them. It allowed their guests to stay in the city and explore. Entertainment was one of the most important elements for them. The couple has a favorite DJ they follow in Georgia so they decided to fly him out for the celebration. The couple never left the dance floor!
