Pawley’s Island Wedding With Winter Jewel Tones & Champagne
From the lush floral entry to the boxwood-backed champagne wall, Mallory & Brent’s Pawley’s Island wedding with winter jewel tones is a picture of modern romance. These high school sweethearts exchanged vows before billowing greenery and jammy blooms styled by the expert hands of Willow Event Designs – a sentimental ceremony followed by a handsome reception with gold chiavari chairs, blush napkins, tall centerpieces and all. While the Lowcountry may trade flurried snow for Spanish Moss, the spirit of the season is strong in this winter jewel tone wedding captured by Jacqueline & Laura. We hope it kickstarts your holiday reverie and inspires your own end-of-year fêtes!
From the Photographer, Jacqueline & Laura: This winter wedding day in the Lowcountry was one to be remembered! From the elegant details, to the 75-degree day that had everyone in disbelief that it was truly December, to the celebration of high school sweethearts on their wedding day, it was a gorgeous event!
Mallory and Brent’s wedding incorporated the most vibrant and elegant florals by Willow Event and Design that brought life to their winter wedding on Pawley’s Island. With Christmas being two weeks away, their color palette with shades of blush and mauve hinted at the season, while still keeping it classy.
Mallory had sent us some inspiration for their floral arrangements during the planning process, and we were amazed by how Willow Events and Design tirelessly worked to make the vision happen!! The florals were the eye-catching statement of the day (especially the floral arch on the front door!) and we loved incorporating them into all of their portraits. We probably photographed it from every angle because it was just that good!
During their ceremony, Mallory and Brent read each other personal letters, commenting on their previous years in the relationship. All the way back to 9th grade when they began dating! After growing up on the coast of South Carolina, Pawley’s Island held sentimental value for them and provided a location for all their guests to come celebrate them in the charm on the Lowcountry.
75 degrees?! They could have fooled us with their winter jewel tones and fireplace ambiance. For more sweet + classic sweater weather vibes like this, revisit this Toronto loft minimony with us next. The fireplace installation is simply *chef’s kiss*.
