Styled Social Dallas: Abstract Terracotta
Well, tickle us terracotta! Today we’re feeling extra giddy as we share our first editorial from Styled Social Dallas. This one was all about texture (specifically, that of clay, earthenware and even some equipale!), and we’re wholly embracing these down to earth wedding vibes. From the industrial copper arch to the abstract mural backdrop to the modern embellished bridal gown, this team of Dallas wedding vendors brought some serious spunk to the stage. So be prepared to max out your senses because you won’t find boring here!
Creative wedding photographer Afrik Armando flew all the way from his home base in Philadelphia to capture this earth-meets-mortar scene, and we’re overjoyed that he did! His unique knack for capturing light and unexpected angles keeps us on the edge of our seats every time.
Coordinated by Gold Dust Event Co, this cozy setting was brought to life with elevation and edge that Dallas weddings are so known for mustering.
Taking center stage in each pretty scene are the artfully arranged blooms from long-time Ruffled member, R Love Floral. These deep earthy tones melt our hearts every time.
It’s like we’ve scene an angel with our own eyes! Our model totally wows in this Naama & Anat Couture gown from The Blushing Bride, loopy beads, damask embellishments, glistening tulle and all!
You’re probably wondering about this jaw-dropping mural in the background. And you’ll probably be as surprised + delighted as we were to find that Minted now offers gigantic murals to decorate homes like this one! We figured a wedding is always a good excuse to express your interior design dreams further, so bam. Backdrop!
Set inside a plush velvet ring box from Voue du Couer, the antique engagement ring from EraGem practically jumps from the frame with its surprise pops of emerald along the band.
The watercolor brushstroke invites with gold foil accents are also from Minted (and equally as mesmerizing)!
Amber goblets, antique silver and the rest of the tabletop pieces from Pretty Little Plates will have you smiling faster than you can say “I need it now!”
This swept back do’ from Meagan Bechtel has us feeling like we need our own glam squad daily.
Remember the equipale I mentioned earlier? These classic Mexican chairs with a twisted rattan base make for the most distinctive at the head table, and Coral Lane can be thanked for all these specialty furniture pieces!
We’ll forever be obsessed with the open floor plan and industrial space that make up Fort Worth wedding venue, Brik, which played host to this Styled Social. There’s nothing like a blank canvas to bring your vision to life!
Okay, but let’s appreciate this cake from Crumb & Kettle again in all its painterly pink glory!
Curious to see how it all came together? Splendor Films put together this fabulous video giving you a peek at some of the other editorials from Styled Social Dallas that will be featured on Ruffled soon, as well as the Pick-a-Pair Wall for our attendees featuring stylish Rescue Flats they could shoot comfortably in throughout the day!
We’re gearing up for our next Styled Socials where wedding photographers will have the opportunity to shoot a full-scale editorial like this one, produced by us and designed by a team of handpicked local vendors. We’d love to see you there!
