Today we’re bringing you this beautiful Camp Lucy wedding captured by Josh and Dana Fernandez with pretty as far as the eye can see. Located near Austin, Texas, Kathy and Alex chose this venue from a long list of favorites across the U.S for their multicultural wedding. Then they brought on Kelly Doonan Events to plan and Mibellarosa to flower their day, and rest you have to see it for yourselves. Let’s get to it!

At the beginning of wedding planning, Kathy and Alex considered several different cities and venues across the country, but ultimately chose Camp Lucy, which is located just outside of Austin, Texas. Once they chose their venue, they really wanted the decor to represent the surrounding area. Picking up on the desert and muted tones of the Texas hill country, they worked with stationer, Rachel of Half Moon Lettering to design a beautiful watercolor invitation that highlighted Ian’s Chapel of their venue as well as a map taking them through all of the events of the weekend.

Not only did the couple have an outdoor ceremony at Camp Lucy overlooking the gorgeous landscapes, but they also started the day with a traditional Catholic church wedding down the road at St. Martin de Porres where the bride and her bridesmaids wore Vietnamese dresses. Between the church ceremony, the Camp Lucy ceremony, and the reception, the bride had three gorgeous dresses that she changed into, all from Unbridaled! Not to be left out of the outfit changes, the groom also changed after the second ceremony, in which he traded out his black tux jacket into a colorful and dapper blazer!

Going off of the color tones and the couple’s desire for their decor to incorporate the surrounding vibe of the venue and location, the florist, Phuong of Mibellarosa and Kelly of Kelly Doonan Events worked to create a cohesive reception and ceremony. From the unique seating chart display that was made from cacti to the muted, yet still colorful florals and linens in the reception hall, everything came together beautifully!
