From the Annie Randall Photography: Allison and Wesley really chose the perfect mix of fashion and sentiment for their Scottsdale destination wedding. Allison got married with her grandmother’s wedding band, in a stunning Berta gown, while Wes wore a custom Tom Barnett NY suit, with a custom lining made with photos of their (fur)baby. They easily knew that Silverleaf was the venue for them, after attending Arizona State University and visiting Scottsdale many times, as Wesley’s parents own a vacation home there. This venue is just stunning! It feels like you are in the Mediterranean but still nestled in a quiet desert oasis. A dream for anyone in attendance.
These two met in high school and have been together for 8 years. Guests from all stages of their life traveled to Scottsdale, to attend a near perfectly planned and executed celebration. Even after 8 years, both Allison and Wesley were both nervous every moment leading up to their first look, and even during the ceremony. Allison’s veil got swept up like a fairy tale by a light wind, as her dad was walking her down those beautiful stairs to the aisle. So much emotion, and anticipation during the day, that easily faded to so much joy and a night celebration and raves about this couple. All of which was deserved! A quartet played during the ceremony, with a live band for all of the evening entertainment.
Her choices for white blooms and lush greens just accented the vibe of this venue even more. Her custom invitation suite and signage for seating cards, guest tables, and signs were by a dear talented friend in attendance, Stephanie B Design, LLC. I remember Allison saying she was sure she wanted her hair to be down, but then each time she tried on her Berta gown, she kept finding herself putting her hair up. It seems like every little detail just fell in to place as it should. The styles of bridesmaids dress from Bill Levkoff and her Stuart Weitzman heels were not to be missed either. Of course, an elegant plated meal was served, and they surprised their guests with a late night snack, and In-N-Out Burger was delivered! They had a team of family, friends, and vendors that supported them and made their dreams a reality. It truly was a dream wedding!
Silver-plated centerpiece vessels, towering pillar candles and classic Tuscan cross-back chairs from Event Rents AZ gave their reception a wholly romantic ambiance.
