Paradise Cove Florida Wedding
This is how I immediately picture my idea of a fun intimate wedding. No fuss, just pure style and energy beaming from the important people in your life. And if a beach wedding doesn’t already invoke that kind of laidback mood we all love, add in a VW Camper. Bam, fun beach wedding through and through. Dive in on these images by Raquel Sergio.
From the bride, Loryn: I wanted a vintage/rustic wedding full of character and TLC. I would describe our day as vintage, classy, fun, full of love, homey, warm, and charming. I didn’t exactly have set colors. Just a neutral palette. Sage, pale yellow, champagnes, and creams. I added texture with patterned cloth hearts and touches of burlap.
I went antique shopping to collect the vintage bottles and also cam across the suitcase which held the cards. We also found little gems like the pie plates and window where I hung some engagement pictures. I borrowed the antique typewriter from a family friend and created the poem the instructed guests to use as guest book and type messages which we will read on our anniversaries. My bridesmaid’s husband made the awesome sign that directed the guests to their unassigned seats.
We cut out hearts out of pattern fabrics and hung with mini clothespins on twine and hung around the venue and on certain tables. The groom’s mother made us the xoxo burlap sign that hung from our sweetheart table. We had a fire pit at our venue so I thought what batter favor than some good ol s’mores! So I individually wrapped pieces of Hershey’s chocolates, graham crackers, and marshmallows. Then I made the labels of “I love him s’more” and “I love her s’more” and put them on the craft boxes.

Any advice for brides planning their weddings now? My advice is to take it all in and enjoy EVERY moment. Both leading up to and the day of. It all seemed so stressful and overwhelming at times. But when it was over I missed it all. I want to do it all over again… with the same groom of course đ

Great wedding! I love when vintage is done, but not overdone. This is a great example of fitting the perfect amount of vintage into their wedding.
Awesome pics!
Love the bride’s dress and groom’s suit – they look great together! The flowers are beautiful. Loving the bridesmaids dresses, too.
