Summer Wedding Inspiration with Mauve and Berry
Warm weather and berry hues make a pretty sweet combination in our books, and when there’s a setting sun in the mix, we’re even more in love. Julie Paisley and Cedarwood Weddings helped to create and capture a truly romantic scene full of soft purples, fresh fruit, and elegant paper goods surrounded by utterly lush blooms. Thank you for sharing this beauty with us!
From the event designers, Cedarwood Weddings: Combining modern elements with vintage touches, the Cedarwood Weddings design team dreamt of fabled love stories of the Victorian era for the modern couple. The sweetness of southern summers inspired this wedding style loaded with berry hues, fresh fruit, and sparkling sips. Champagne coupes filled to the brim with bubbly and berries, a gilded naked cake covered in sweet fruits and the softest blooms, and whimsical calligraphy details all played their part in setting an amorous atmosphere among Historic Cedarwood’s 50 acres.
Using a rich color palette of blackberry, raspberry, taupe, grey, and gold set off by lush greenery, floral elements were overflowing with graceful elegance. The abundant centerpiece laid atop a vintage golden mirror overflowed with sensuous tones and delicate stems. A circular flower altar flanked by a vintage bridge led the bride and groom into their united future as one. It was love at first sight with Sweet Caroline’s berry hued tulle skirt and lace bodysuit separates. The bride Macy donned a deep berry crush lip to complement her romantic up do dotted with ranunculus buds. An updated take on classic bridal beauty while her stately groom was classically handsome in navy.
