Modern Geo Wedding Inspiration
There’s nothing that’s more impressive than when vendors brainstorm to design a shoot that has us enthralled with the creativity and talent they have. Shelley K Photography and Haley Hueckman did just that and what came from their collaboration is quite amazing. One of the things that we’ve learned is that if there’s anywhere that a black wedding dress can work so well, this shoot has proved to us it’s in the desert, paired with the most eye-catching flowers by Bramble & Brass and those sultry jewel tones.
From the photographer, Shelley K Photography: This modern geometric wedding editorial took place in the high desert region of eastern Oregon. The shoot was styled with a love of geometry and equilateral shapes as well as deep jewel tones. The jewel tones paired beautiful with the neutral backdrop of the landscape and created great contrast. We also wanted to step outside the box with a black wedding dress. All florals were foraged locally in eastern Oregon.
Like brides, grooms are most certainly entitled to jazz up their wedding day threads. Classic tuxedo jacket styles in black or cream are always a winner, but picking out a navy blue, ruby red, or even emerald green tuxedo jacket will be sure to wow everyone. Mixing and matching different prints are another fun way to show your sartorial skills, like this groom who dressed up his casual linen blue jacket with a diamond-print bowtie. Quite snazzy to say the least!
Cutting open sweet-smelling citrus fruits like these and displaying them in and around your wedding tables are a fun way to dress up your tablescapes if they’re in need of more styling. They add brilliant pops of color and an even bigger plus is that they smell divine!
This is so pretty!! AND THAT WAFFLE CAKE!!
