We’re completely fawning over this wedding inspiration shot in The Netherlands and all of their beautiful cherry blossom trees! The Bridal Blush wanted to create a shoot in the wonderland of cherry blossom trees found in Amsterdam, and soon brought on board Elisabeth Van Lent Photography and Bloemenmeisjes.com to help round out her vision. Highlighting all of the pretty inspirational colors, Bloemenmeisjes.com and her floral crew went with lovely springtime blooms in shades of pink with dashes of white and yellow. For styling, The Bridal Blush set the focus on the trees and the bride’s eye-catching cherry blossom dress, while keeping the tablescape simple. They used bright white with hints of pink and soft blue, a great accompaniment to this beautiful setting.

And finally the very first leaves and the first blossom appears on the trees. You can feel the warmth of the sun and smell the beautiful spring air. Inspiration for this elopement began in the Amsterdam Forest (The Netherlands). This forest is a truly hidden gem next to the crowded cities. It has many small and romantic paths with benches and a variety of different flora and fauna.
Only two weeks a year does this forest becomes a place for a spectacular show provided by mother nature: flowering of 400 Sakura trees (Prunus Serrulata). At this inspirational location we only had to add a bit to make the images sparkle. The dress, flower design, sweet table with gorgeous cake and of course the real love of our couple – Amber & Samuel. The real eye catcher is the amazing dress made by Unielle Couture. All the flowers were attached to the dress by hand. The dress defines Spring, and it looks like it was made for a wedding under the cherry blossoms.
We aimed to endorse romantic, soft location settings with the blossom. Sweet Appetite created an amazing wedding cake with beautiful details and some blossom inspired sweets, which were not only joy for the eyes, but were amazingly delicious as well.
