Industrial Modern Colorado Wedding Inspiration
How lucky is it to be able to pull off a beautiful Galia Lahav wedding dress straight off of the runway and use it in a shoot with Connie Whitlock? Quite lucky, indeed! We’re so excited to share these yummy photos with you so you can go gaga over all of the beautiful details of Moss Denver‘s transformation, and the modern color palette with the Victorian garden-esque florals by Flora by Nora. Simply amazing!
From the photographer, Connie Whitlock: The inspiration for the colors, mood, and style of the shoot came from the invitation suite provided by Wedding Paper Divas. The shoot took place in a modern/urban venue, but we kept the decor very organic and simple. The stunning dress by Galia Lahav is fresh off the runway – we lucked out and had a chance to incorporate it while it’s going around on the trunk show circuit. We loved the juxtaposition of the clean, elegant lines of the modern, urban, industrial venue against the organic feel of all of the decor we chose. We chose organic textures like rustic wood, silks, and linens, and layered with a simple color palette and lush florals. We used overflowing floral to accent everything and to create that look.
When it comes to this gown, we’re positively speechless. As if the long ethereal train wasn’t enough, the bodice is the most incredible piece of artwork we’ve seen on a bride yet!
My goodness, this wedding gown paired with a breathtakingly beautiful hooded cape has to be as close as it gets to a fairy tale.
