Farm in the City Wedding Inspiration

If you love food as much as you love wedding decor, then this styled shoot’s for you. Amanda Marie Schwinghammer, The White Room, and Maven Styling, Floral & Events recently put together this imagined wedding with modern overtones and a farm-to-table approach, using fresh fruits and vegetables throughout the table decor.

From the photographer, Amanda Marie Schwinghammer: Inspired by the true North, our focus was on farm-to-table style from a modern lens. With pops of color, historic elements, natural wood and modern art, The Bachelor Farmer provides the perfect backdrop for couples who envision hosting an intimate wedding in a nordic setting. Tying in food, such as pomegranates, radishes, black grapes & artichokes, to the centerpiece for wedding tables makes a cohesive transition from the restaurant-like setting to florals.

Taking cues from the natural surrounding of MN in the fall, the color palette of gold, evergreen, milky whites and burgundy, tables were styled and set by layering materials evocative of an autumnal feast. Drawing on the natural elements, a candle-lit, dark-glazed ceramics and flour sack napkins were set by Maven Styling & Floral.
