From the event designer, Meggie Fracisco Events: The sparkling new Laurel venue in Grapevine, Texas brings a unique option to Dallas and Fort Worth Area couples. With an outdoor ceremony space, an indoor chapel for shelter from unpredictable Texas rain, and an indoor/outdoor reception space, couples looking to wed have lots of options at a location that feels like a destination, but still close to home. In this inspirational shoot, we show off the venue’s hill-country style charm with a bold palette of rust, thistle and porcelain white. The clean wood ceremony altar takes on a more relaxed tone with carefree curly willow and hearty blooms. Crystal chandeliers add a touch of sparkle.
The table, anchored by a robust heavy plaid linen and accented by comfy cushioned benches, overflows with lush greenery and abundant roses and tulips. Antique scroll dinnerware and cut crystal glassware play together to create a relaxed, mix-and-match feeling. Wood-handled Laguiole steak knives reflect the venue’s generous use of wood accents and build anticipation for a hearty Texas steak dinner. The bridal model dons a thickly textured Ines di Santo gown in a rich alabaster tone. The dramatic, low v-back mermaid gown highlights the model’s natural beauty. Sparkly drop earrings and a lush bouquet packed with roses complete the look.
