Laurita Winery was the ideal venue for an inspiration shoot to showcase summertime soirees with its endless grapevines and myriad of nooks. We played off the natural beauty of the location and kept things very organic. The vineyard’s greenery and beautiful sunsets inspired a color palette of pale blues and greens, creamy whites, ivories, and hints of rust. The deserted barn and silos inspired a design for a rustic, yet chic and feminine, weddingscape. By mixing rust, mercury glass, burlap and lace, we had a lush blend of textures and colors that evoked a feeling of endless summer days. Our table was created with antique blue mismatched china, burlap accents, mercury glass chargers and lace die-cut menus. A runner of sewn-together antique doilies laid under an array of sweet summer blooms and succulents. In a quiet corner of the vineyard, an antique gate displayed placecards and mason jars with tealights hung from the tree above. The delicious cake and desserts sat on silver serving trays beneath hanging window panes and a fabric banner that read “sweetness”. A beverage station sat along the vines to help guests keep their cool: mason jars wrapped in twine, burlap and lace served as glasses for the yummy limeade and blueberry sangria that were displayed atop an antique shrapnel box. Vintage keys were tied to little love notes and were pinned to chicken wire on an old ladder. The sweetheart table was situated between old silos and draped in vintage cream lace with a set of antique plates, mercury glass, soft florals, and votives. Their sweetheart chairs were adorned with the cutest “Mr” and “Mrs” fabric banners. Our bride, adorned in a spiral lace Birnbaum & Bullock gown, carried a beautiful bouquet of wildflowers tied in natural fabrics and finished off with a cute blue wool ribbon. Her look was the perfect complement to the organic décor and stunning setting.
