Organic Greenhouse Wedding Inspiration
As soon as we heard Adam Barnes, Ashley Baber Weddings, and The Arrangement Company were working together for a styled shoot, we knew we were in for some serious pretty. The resulting editorial didn’t disappoint, mixing muted pastels with endless beautiful anemones and plenty of eye-catching calligraphy.
From the event designer, Amanda Gray of Ashley Baber Weddings: Natural elements and textures served as inspiration for this early Spring shoot. Marbling and floral bulbs mixed with muted pastels and dark hues created a fresh backdrop. The bride donned layers of lace and tulle, the first look provided by Lovely Bride and Jaclyn Jordan NY. The second look, a sleek lace illusion bodice gown by Watters paired with a fur shoal for the reception. The grooms paper white boutonniere was a fresh compliment to the brides bouquet.
The bridesmaid gown from Joanna August made the muted pastel bouquet the focus as she walked down the aisle. Jewels by Suz Somersall highlighted those warm yellow/peach tones. Stationery from Thick and Thin calligraphy echoed the mix of dark and light, adding a gold elegance element with a marbled paper envelope liner. The greenhouse setting was filled with trees and plants and copious amounts of natural light, in this chilly time of year. The table was set with a black velvet linen to provide texture and marble gold chargers match elements from the stationery. Calligraphed leather tags served as place cards and the unique escort card design by Thick and Thin added to the textured elegance. A live painter was also available to capture the reception, for the couple to treasure for years to come!
Lovely photographs! And the venue is just as awesome. 🙂
