Jefferson Street Mansion Bridal Shower

Here at Ruffled we enjoy sharing all aspects of wedding planning and inspiration, so of course we’re excited to bring you this real bridal shower event at California’s Jefferson Street Mansion captured by Inkspot Photography. Luckily we’ve got the bride’s matron of honor with us to share all the planning details, so let’s jump on in!

From the Matron Of Honor: Jefferson Street Mansion set the backdrop for this elegant bridal shower with subtle kitsch details everywhere you turned. Featuring custom hand painted signage created on chalkboard in vintage frames and a unique stained wood welcome sign inspired by the couple’s invitations. I can never rave enough about Bee Curious Designs’ lovely signage! We loved the calligraphy they did on our hand-picked river rocks used as placeholders.

We transformed antique drawers from a storage locker found at a flea market for centerpieces. Our mimosa and punch table was decorated with vintage cookbooks & oatmeal tins. I’m in love with the sequined and floral lace table linens and photo booth backdrop from Candy Crush Events! They really had all the designs to pick from that we could ever envision for this special day! The mansion provided mahogany chairs, antique silver serving pieces and monogrammed gold lined plates and flutes for our light salad bar lunch. Our bride Melanie wore a fresh lavender head wreath tied with ribbon that smelled heavenly for the photo booth and gift opening. Each guest was welcome to grab a fresh Krispy Kreme donut for dessert and one to take home, and a cup of Peets coffee. And what would a bridal shower be without giant white balloons tied up with gold and navy striped ribbons?!
