Bowties and Bourbon Southern Wedding Inspiration

Almost nothing pleases us as much as a dream team of vendors coming together to create something truly magical. Lora Grady Photography, Darien Leigh Events & Design, and Botanique collaborated to bring us this Southern-inspired wedding shoot all the way from Snohomish, Washington. The welcoming double-bar set up is a stylish, charming way to invite your guests to mingle, chat and enjoy the wedding day. As guests laugh and “get fancy” with bourbon or bubbly in hand, the evening is sure to go off without a hitch. Gentlemen swap their neckties for a bow tie while ladies adorn themselves with vintage costume jewelry — creating a look and feel that is vibrant, festive and charming.

The feminine color palette of coral, blush and peach is anchored by masculine tones of rich navy blue. The guys’ bar is full of all things sportsman and gentleman, complete with antique whiskey bottles and crates, vintage trophies for the flower vases, and a wide array of bow ties to choose from. The ladies’ bar is light and airy with glasses of bubbly, colorful vintage jewelry, and sparkly cut crystal vases. The cake, with layers of peach and coral, looks just as delicious as it tastes. This interactive bow tie and bauble bar breathes a little life into traditional wedding favors while creating a unique guest experience that is sure to get them talking!
