Valentine’s Day Love Letter Shoot
Let the Valentine festivities continue! There’s no fighting our love of Valentine’s Day-inspired photo shoots, especially when it includes a collaboration between two great vendors like Juli Vaughn Designs and photographer Amber Wilburn. Read on for the duo’s inspiration behind their shoot and a special DIY Project!
From the stylists: Nobody – and I mean nobody – really wants to get Kroger flowers and cheap chocolates for Valentine’s Day. And they definitely don’t want a tweet or a facebook message. But an old fashioned love letter? One that is straight from your love’s heart and dripping with meaningful inside jokes and true romance? That will melt any disillusioned Valentine’s heart. This was the inspiration behind a project that Amber Wilburn Photography and Juli Vaughn Designs concocted: An old fashioned love letter “updated” in a coffee table book format and personalized for anyone wanting to tell their love to “be mine.” These images are from the shoot for that project. They are inspired by the idea of a romance that is both playful and timeless. A “Mars” sweeps “Venus” off her feet and tells her he’s “Her biggest fan; She’s his “Honey Bun” his one true “Sweetheart.”
