Tropical Cuban Wedding Inspiration
Bright colors, a lovely dress, and delicious eats make up this fantastic shoot concocted by Amber Vickery Photography and Uptown Events and Travel. Cuba was the foundation of this beautiful shoot and we feel transported there already. We’re loving all of the brilliant shades of orange, yellow, and pink shot against the stark white background of One Eleven East. The colors stand out so perfectly. Not to mention, pairing all of the stand-out shades used with the moody indigo blue was spectacular! Petals, Ink. definitely brought it all together with their lovely floral creations using the most colorful flowers from the tulip and orchid families.
From the photographer, Amber Vickery Photography: Together with Uptown Events, One Eleven East and many other amazing Austin based vendors, we planned a very Cuban/Tropical inspiration shoot. We took inspiration from vintage Cuban tile work, tropical plants and florals, and the architecture of Cuba. Finding so much great indigo colored architectural while researching Cuba, we knew we wanted to pull in that deep blue to anchor the shoot and throw in a massive splash of color in contrast. Gretchen with Petals, Ink. blew us away with her use of tropical florals. I absolutely love how it all came together.
Who says food can’t be a great wedding centerpiece? Meringues like these are great for the table and they are beautiful to look at, especially when they are paired with flowers and other fresh fruit like the addition of the strawberries. The only thing you have to worry about is your guests taking bites out of your centerpieces. With scrumptious treats like this in front of them, we don’t think we could blame them!
So delighted to create the stationery pieces for this shoot and I’m totally in love with how everything turned out! A seriously talented bunch of vendors 🙂
