St Patrick’s Day Wedding Ideas
One of my very favorite colors is emerald, so I don’t think it should come as a shock that St Patrick’s Day wedding inspiration is right up my alley. Throw in some gold and two precious-as-a-peach ring bearers, and I’m simply smitten. Oh, and then styling by Dallas’ very own Birds of a Feather Events and images from Sara & Rocky Photography? This one is pure perfection, you guys.
From the photographer, Sara & Rocky Photography: When thinking of St Patrick’s Day our minds are filled with greens, golds and clovers. However, when designing this shoot we wanted to pull away from the festive and showcase those novelties in a romantic and realistic way. We used various shades of greens with pops of black, gold, and a soft blue all captured in the gorgeous tablescape by Wendy with Birds of a Feather Events. The custom center piece is so romantic and whimsy with small cascading gold clovers. Lush florals of amaryllis, anemones, garden roses and dahlias from The Southern Table, along with custom place cards from Harts and Quills with an Irish Blessing topped with a gold chocolate covered cookie completes the look. Tracy Melton Artistry played with fun pops of greens & golds for the eye shadows, but kept the look overall soft and romantic to keep in tune with the feel. Braids were used within the hair to play with the Irish feel but with an interesting, new twist.
We just love the invitation suite, from the gold braided metal band to the soft gold envelope liner that matches our custom wooden bar from Juniper Rentals. Chelsea didn’t skip a beat in creating something unique and festive while keeping with our romantic theme. She called upon Crystal from Harts and Quills to do the calligraphy for both the invite and the envelopes. The bouquet with gilded fern is breathtaking and just perfect for our shoot. The cake set up from Layered Bake Shop brings in more gold and adds a modern element paired with romantic soft florals. And what Irish wedding wouldn’t be complete without a whiskey tasting! Displayed on this eye catching wooden bar that bring in a soft warm to our color palate perfectly and completes the space.

Thank you so much for sharing!! This was a fun one! Happy St. Patty’s!!!
A gold fern! Seriously?! I am absolutely crazy about the gold fern. And the clovers! That garland! Seriously, you venture into some dangerous territory with the St. Patrick’s theme, but everyone executed on it so perfectly. As you say, “pure perfection”, and it is!!!
Oh, so pretty!! Love the green, black and white together, and of course, accented with gold, one of my fav colour combos!!
This cake and calligraphy…I mean, YEAH. Amazing!
St Patricks Day and a wedding? What a cool way to celebrate!
