South African Forest Wedding Inspiration

We love some good woodland wedding inspiration, and even more so when we know it’s in the forests of South Africa. Ronél Kruger Photography & Art and Green Goddess Flower Studio are sharing their woodsy-meets-fairytale photo shoot with us all today, which includes endless beautiful wedding gowns, cakes, bouquets, and even a surprise white husky pup!

From the photographer, Ronél Kruger: This is our woodlands inspired shoot, with a touch of magic/fairytale. There are some vintage and eco-friendly / “back to basics” elements as well. The couple are wearing vintage ensembles for example. The flower/foliage crowns are all local and seasonal, and very inexpensive. The cake has a ‘raw’ feel with fresh figs and honey. The dresses have a fairytale feel. There are fairytale elements with a hint at sleeping beauty and red riding hood. The cake toppers were hand painted with little flower crowns.
