Modern Geometric Summer Table
Something about geometric patterns always appeals to our modern sensibilities, so it comes as little shock that we love this shoot from Scott Michael Photography as much as we do. Little Cat Design Co. jumped on board to incorporate show-stopping details, like the intricate honeycomb backdrop, 3-D place setting trinkets, and bright floral design from Primary Petals.
From the photographer, Scott: Inspired by modern brides, we went out into the heart of the arts district in down town L.A. to create a hip modern wedding style. With a large industrial space, the City of Angels as a backdrop, and plenty of glittery geometric goodness in tow we set to work!
This shoot is very L.A. – from bright and organic flower arrangements to the sweeping bridges, and clean minimal styling. The little touches of gold glitter, and bold graphic patterns keep it fresh and fun. Meandering around the concrete jungle, our model looks radiant in a sleek Nicole Miller gown with geometric detailing. Much of the decor is great for a DIY bride, since it is largely paper craft. The hanging paper piece from Eva Black Design, was hand crafted with repurposed paper and glue.
