Autumnal Blush Inspiration Shoot
We’re inching our way into fall, so what better way to embrace one of our favorite seasons than with this styled shoot sent over by The Little Flower Cottage and Bring to Light Photography? With gorgeous autumnal floral arrangements and antiques galore, it’s pretty tough not to love this little piece of gorgeousness.
From the florist, Navya of The Little Flower Cottage: It’s the time of year in New England when the vibrant colors of summer begin to softly fade, cooler weather moves in, and we all hope for those lingering Indian Summer afternoons. We wanted to capture that fleeting moment while showcasing beautiful and interesting ways to use a collection of curiosities to enhance the feel of a wedding day. Our true source of inspiration came from a love of found antiques and vintage pieces. Many of the elements used were sourced from tucked away antique and salvage shops found throughout New England.
Stacks of vintage books, glass bottles, and found wooden trunks add a splash of color and texture. The subdued shades of dried grass and dreamy sunset lighting plays gently with the muted romantic tones of the floral design and stationery.
The table décor features a collection of mixed metals amid creamy blush blooms. Full garden roses, dahlias and viburnum berry are nestled in antique silver trophy vases for a touch of elegance. Menu cards and vintage linens topped with sprigs of lavender adorn guests’ gold rimmed place settings. Amber and clear hobnail glasses accented by silver candlesticks and mercury glass votives cast the table with sparkle and light.
Boutonnières made of soft pink roses paired with sprigs of seeded eucalyptus and twine provide a touch of rustic romance for the groom. The bride’s bouquet of garden roses and dahlias is quietly colorful against her cream vintage lace gown. Last but not least, beautiful macarons in hues ranging from honey to rich plum create a whimsical and delectable display for the bride’s vintage inspired cushion cut engagement ring.

I love this! I’m getting married in the Australian autumn, so it’s really wonderful seeing all this autumn colour. It’s giving me the inspiration I need to get working on my wedding dress!
This is so cute, I love it!
I love the palette for this shoot. I think people think you can’t have a softer color scheme for fall but you can see here that it’s not the case at all. I also love that the macarons perfectly complement the florals. Beautiful shoot!
Beautiful flower bouquets! The macarons look delicious.
The photography is captivating and memorable! Well done!
I love the use of antique glass insulators in the decor – why didn’t I think of that?
I love the charm of this wedding. I enjoy the old books and the mercury class. Very nice!
I love the ring atop the macaroons! Does anyone know the designer?
