Aqua and Gold Easter Inspiration
Spring is definitely here, and along with it comes one of our favorite holidays: Easter! Ashley Hayward collaborated with Jenna Trapasso of Red White and Green Photography to create this Easter-inspired bohemian affair, full of pops of aqua and gold. Thank you Ash and Jenna!
From the stylist, Ashley: We wanted to create an airy backyard affair complete with pops of our favorite color scheme, gold and aqua. We knew two things for certain: we wanted to use the amazing Sarah Seven aqua stunner from Ruffled Shop, and wanted to play around with glitter bomb eggs. We also knew we wanted to avoid too much structure, so we kept things a bit bohemian by using a loosely grouped bouquet of open tulips and a halo of Carolina jessamine for the bride’s hair.

I could not love this shoot any more!! Absolutely gorgeous. I think I might love that cake the most!
Awesome. Love all the pictures.
Such a beautiful shoot!!
This is so beautiful! Gold is the thing this year and I’ve always loved aqua, they compliment each other so well.
Hi! I’ve followed your blog for a while now. Even though I recently married I still check back here for colour & styling inspiration and this is a beautiful example of how two totally different colours seem to go together so well! Thanks for the inspiration! Jillian
Love those aqua eggs with the mini yellow daffodils in them…so cute! Beautiful shoot!
Can’t get enough of that gorgeous aqua. And the mini cakes with the fuzzy chicks — inspired!!!
Can anyone PLEASE tell me what brand this dress is or where I can find it? I’ve looked everywhere and it is to die for! Thank you!
Hi Kristina – the dress is an older style made by Sarah Seven!
