Red Barcelona Wedding

How much do you love an international wedding? We’ve been lucky enough to feature quite a few of them over here, and we’re delighted to add this Spanish wedding blending British tradition from 3 deseos y medio into the mix! With accents of deep crimson at every turn, a gorgeous one-shoulder wedding gown, and travel-inspired decor elements throughout the reception, this is quickly becoming one of our favorite weddings.

From the bride, Adriana: When we imagined how our ideal wedding would look like saw a modern and minimalist version of the 1940s Hollywood glamour, with strong leading ladies and gentlemen that never lost their cool. We wanted it to feel young and modern but also with that timeless elegance that only the classics provide. We both love that era’s jazz music, so a bit of Ella Fitzgerald and the likes were thrown in the mix for the styling.

We went for soft hues with color accents in red, both for the bride and the groom, and the only flowers featured were different kinds of red roses. The bridesmaids where asked to wear a nude colored ensemble, but they could choose their own one. We wanted the wedding to be stylish (we both are designers and suckers for details) but we didn’t want it to feel too composed, the main objective was for everyone to have fun and feel comfortable!
