Project Gallery Wedding
Honestly, where to begin with this one? I think first up would have to be congratulating photographer Phil Chester on a job immensely well done, as every single one of these images had us obsessed. Then we’ve got the stunning ceremony backdrop, with various hanging berries and greenery enhancing the stage as Gracie and Nathan exchanged forever vows. Let’s just dive right in, shall we?
From the photographer, Phil Chester: Nate and Gracie are just awesome. They put together their wedding day with the perfect relaxed flow that really let them enjoy their day. I got there an hour earlier to scout out the perfect location for their first look and found an epic spot on top of Runyon Canyon with the views of the Los Angeles Hills and Hollywood sign as the backdrop.
Portraits were a high priority for Nate + Gracie so it was awesome that they scheduled in plenty of time to roam around LA to allow for a nice variety in locations. I love documenting the smaller, intimate weddings such as theirs. I feel a lot more connected to the friends and family which allows for me to take more personal images without having to run around and make sure I’m documenting 100s of guests. They had the perfect recipe for their day, really happy spirits, laid back attitude, tons of time for portraits, beautiful settings, and ending the day with killer sliders from a local food truck.
