Modern Orange and Black Wedding Inspiration
If you think orange and black can’t go together without looking overly “Halloween-y”, this styled shoot from Jordan Voth Photography and Ginger Bee Events & Planning is about to prove you wrong. It’s an ultra-modern take on an unexpected color palette for a wedding, and to say we’re a fan of the results is quite the understatement. Take a look for yourself!
From the event designer, Natalie of Ginger Bee Events & Planning: This shoot was devised with the goal of presenting some new masculine details, emphasizing bold colors, and highlighting a mixture of textures and materials. With sand, slate, chiffon, glass, and wood the photos represent a natural balance between “hard” and “soft” which came together to add beautiful textures and a constant movement of the eye. Funky details and quirky knickknacks add personality to an otherwise, minimal landscape.
The small pool of vendors that helped me with this shoot is lively, creative, and silly! The whole set was cracking up so many times during the day of the shoot. Beyond the fact that we had such a great time, I’m so freakin’ proud of the amazing job that they did! So fun and so inspirational to be surrounded by such great folks. Thanks to all!

Wow, some serious work, thought, prep and talent was put into this vivid shoot! I am not a huge fan of orange colour, but this inspiration gave me a totally new perspective on it. Love every single detail, the first dress with ruffles is a perfect balance between fun & elegance. Awesome job!
