Modern Copper and Emerald Wedding Ideas
Copper has become such a trendy metallic color and fixture lately and it’s so easy to see why. It acts as a great filler for any type of wedding palette; whether you’re using elegant and neutral colors or if you choose bold and vibrant shades, a dusting of copper throughout your wedding can bring everything together. In this beautiful shoot by Michelle and Logan, Blush Events created some modern and chic inspiration using black and white stripes along with emerald. To dress it up more, they tossed in small doses of copper via the place settings and that delicious cake. For a great complement, The Rose Shop stuck to lovely whites and greens for florals and nestled some arrangements in geo planters. So fun! This is one inspiration shoot that could not have been more amazing.
From the photographers, Michelle and Logan: We worked with Blush Events to create something unique and new for our area with this styled wedding shoot. Living in our region of Idaho, it seems that brides feel they need to all have cookie-cutter type receptions. We wanted to show how brides can use this brand new venue to do something different!! We went with copper, black, and emerald green to really bring in the clean modern feeling with the geometric shapes. It looked incredible in the venue with the exposed brick wall and natural window light. We had an amazing team of vendors to bring the ideas and vision to life. My husband and I are a husband/wife photo+video team and I felt that we really were able to capture the essence of the shoot together!
We would love to show brides that they can have the type of wedding they want even if the trends are not in their area. Plus, our couple was celebrating their 1 year wedding anniversary during our shoot! What a way to celebrate! Get all dressed up and have your photos taken!
I love those geometric centerpieces!!! And the gold leaf panting on the cake. It looks more gold to me than copper, but it might just be how my screen is calibrated. Either way, I love the look. It’s very spring, it’s actually very my taste!
