Maine Wedding with Industrial Charm
There are few unexpected combinations we love more than romantic + industrial, especially since it usually means a chic wedding is right around the corner. Today, we’re putting a spotlight on the wedding of Courtney and Jason, who employed the talents of Vero Amore Weddings by Lisa Czech Photography, Pinch Me Planning, and Flora Fauna to pull everything together and capture every element of the day. We’re quite fond of the antique rug ceremony runner, and especially the bistro lighting hovering over the couple as they share their I Dos!
From the wedding planners and designers, Pinch Me Planning: Courtney and Jason’s wedding on October 7th, 2016 was a unique Maine wedding. The juxtaposition of Portland Company’s rustic charm and the romantic details of pink sequins and white pumpkins made for a unique and breath-taking design for this special couple. This bride from Portland and groom from Boston said their vows after walking down fuchsia pink runners anchored by gold geometric lanterns and cross back wooden chairs. Flora Fauna designed an amazing ceremony arbor that complemented the industrial nature of the ‘machine room’ where the couple’s ‘I do’s’ were exchanged. The celebration continued with a buffet-style meal by Blue Elephant enjoyed on farm tables adorned with candles, roses, and unique agate place cards. The night concluded with the local favorite, The Holy Donut, and a naked carrot cake from Nothing Bakes like a Parrott.
