Countryside Tuscan Wedding
We’re always so giddy for Mondays. This week especially, because we’re back to smooth sailing! Lelia Scarfiotti sent over the quirkiest destination wedding in Tuscany that we’ve seen in a long while, complete with boccie ball in the pastoral olive fields in Italy. Maria and James collected vintage-inspired Italian ephemera such as old posters and postcards that were hand-stamped and collaged by Maria to use as placecards. More to see right here!

From the bride: We wanted an outdoor wedding, nothing formal or traditional, just a celebration of us, our personalities and tastes. We love food, travel and Italy and thought Tuscany would be the perfect setting to bring all our friends and family together to enjoy themselves, have a holiday and celebrate with us. We live in Australia but most of our guests were based in the UK and Wales where we are both from, so we needed a venue a little closer than Sydney. We had a lot of guests travel from Australia and Japan and were delighted at the effort people went to be with us. Coming to Tuscany was a great experience for everyone, in the build up to the day everyone got involved helping us create our perfect day from helping arrange decorations and flowers to organizing our wine and pizza evening the night before. It was lovely that everyone felt a big part of the whole event.
