Summer Wedding Inspiration
When Vanessa Pleasants of Vintage Whites Weddings started her rental company, the The Vintage Whites Market, one of her first orders of business was, of course, to concoct a styled shoot with the photography of Jeremy and Alicia Brown to showcase her gorgeous goods! We absolutely adore all the milk glass, mismatched chairs, and the natural beauty of bride Taalyr.
From the event stylist, Vanessa of Vintage Whites Weddings: When local photographer Alicia Brown heard that I was starting a vintage wedding rental company, she approached me with the idea of coordinating a wedding inspiration using items I have collected over the years. We decided on a simple theme based on a house in the country with a covered porch. The location we chose is the historic Gatiss Gardens in Creston, Montana.
The tablescape is very simple and uncluttered; mismatched china and vintage silver on a farm table made from an old door. Twine was used to hang old bottles filled with flowers from wire lamp shade frames over the table. Simple and clean, yet romantic and charming. Cara Finch of Mum’s Flowers created the soft, whimsical arrangements in hobnail glassware. The bouquets perfectly complemented our vintage props. Inspired by kites, we made some with vintage fabric and lace for backdrops. Jana Roach, my business partner (we have a monthly market each summer in Somers, Montana called The Vintage Whites Market), designed the menu and invitation. The cakes were made by Sandy Holf (my mother, and also a partner in The Vintage Whites Market) of Sweet Notions Old Fashioned Cakes and Confections. Taalyr and Spencer, the lovely bride and groom, are friends of mine.

Vanessa is a stunning looking girl, she reminds me a lot of Jessica Alba!
Really love the vintage style with all the pastel colours. Fantastic!
The Melissa Sweet Fern gown she is wearing was my wedding gown- love it so much! The styling is perfect too.
Amanda–well the heels were bought a few years ago from Nordstroms. Sorry…that probably won’t help….unless you want to buy them used 🙂
The favors of this summer wedding are so great especially the desserts!
love the paper bell in the bird cage…so cute
Vanessa-what size are they?
lovely inspiration!
Amanda–Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. They are either a size 6 1/2 or 7. I usually wear a 6 1/2 and they are in great shape. I only wore them a couple times. You can email me if you still want them. [email protected]
