Paper Backdrops + Happy Weekend
Loving all the paper backdrops I’ve been seeing lately. These two caught my eye this week: one in a ceremony, and the other for a reception venue. Kayla and Newton, above, folded 1000 paper cranes and hung them on their ceremony altar as their backdrop, which contrasted with a dark curtain. Shot by Altmix Photography. See their entire wedding here. Below are vintage music sheet flowers pinned on a wall for a reception designed by Courtney of Merriment Events.

And while we’re speaking about backgrounds – like the new banner up top? There’s more good news related to that: we’re relaunching the site in the Fall, with some very exciting surprises! In the meantime, check out our new look on Facebook and on Twitter as well!

Paper rocks! Those are really good and cheap ideas.
I love these! I made my own paper background for a DIY photo booth. I probably punch out over 1,000 flowers! I have pictures up on my blog!
I love the paper cranes, and I do love folding origami… but I can’t imagine folding so many! They did a great job!

This is an amazing idea! Amazing! Love the creativity!
It must have taken ages to make all those paper cranes. Still looks like it was worth it as the overall effect is very impressive.
Love love love those cranes! Any idea where they purchased the paper. Would like to make these for my wedding. Thanks for any help!
