Christmas Woodland Inspiration
Oh holiday season, how we love thee so. It’s the time of year when we’re drawn to woodsy settings, deep reds, and snowy romance – all of which can be found in this styled shoot sent over by Callie Hobbs Photography. Let’s all make a nice mug of marshmallow-y cocoa and take in this beauty, shall we?
From the photographer, Callie Hobbs: I fell in love with this shoot before it even started. We planned it knowing there would mostly likely be snow and that was thrilling to us. The morning started with a necessary change in location due to weather conditions, however, Utah is such a beautiful place it was easy to find another dreamy spot. The snow falling and pine tree combination created a magical feeling of romance without us even having to try.
I kept a crisp, colorful look to the photos as we aimed to keep the decor elegant with the classic pops of red, green, and gold adding neutrals to the palette to keep it sweet and simple. The couple was amazing! Lydia and Dallas. They were beautiful, classy, and the perfect fit for our shoot. Lydia’s look was just what we had envisioned from the flow of her dress to her rose gold ring all the way to her long brunette hair that wholly showed off the headpiece beautifully created by E-flowers. We wanted to show the variation of this wintry look by dressing it up with the fur jacket or keeping it casual with the flannel button down.
