Bohemian Bridal Shower at Terrain

We couldn’t quite contain our excitement when we saw today’s styled shoot from Philadelphia dream team Danfredo Photos + Films, Styled for Love, and Kate Farley Design. The group styled this boho chic LGBT bridal shower with endless pops of color, pompom details, and sweet details like customized acrylic straws that would make awesome party favors!

From Desi + Kori of Styled for Love: There was a lot of intention behind the concept of this shoot. First and foremost, we wanted to provide ideas for gay couples looking for stylish direction in the wedding planning process, along with inspiring all couples interested in hosting a modern and non-traditional celebration. We decided to create a “Will you be our bridal party?” lunch in arguably the most beautiful structure on the Terrain at Styers property, The Mushroom Hut. The vine-covered exterior is often the most photographed so we wanted to bring the party inside this magical space.

Drawing inspiration from West-Coast wedding design, we wanted to take the most light-hearted approach possible. After discovering the beautiful chandelier from Parcel, we knew had found our color palette. We crafted bright, fun design elements to decorate every nook and cranny of the rustic space. Dovetail Rentals provided lounge furniture that perfectly suited the theme along with a table made for a feast among friends. To further the whimsy, personalized Krazy Straws served as place cards. We created and wrapped flip books with the couple asking, “will you be in our bridal party?” and left them at each place setting. Kate Farley’s gorgeous centerpieces rounded out the unique tablescape.
