Wild Beach Elopement Inspiration in Cinque Terre

This wild beach in today’s shoot is giving us major happy vibes, not in the least because it’s right next to Italy’s stunning Cinque Terre. Celine Chhuon Photography, Kalosia Events and Weddings, and Asclépiade Art Floral created a fun beachside reception plus a honeymoon jaunt through Cinque Terre, giving us an extra bit of wanderlust today. We’re madly in love!

From the photographer, Celine Chhuon Photography: The idea behind this inspiration was to mix the minimalist Japanese tradition of wabi-sabi with the five earth elements of Cinque Terre. It is an ode to finding beauty in imperfection (like that headdress made of raw ans used materials), to authenticity and profundity in earthiness. It is mixing the mute color palette of wabi-sabi with the warmth tones of Italian colorful villages. It tells the story of Erika and John who are eloping in Cinque Terre, getting married on a wild beach with only their close friends, before sailing away to their honeymoon island on their boat.
