Whimsical Woodland Wedding
A fog machine. Oversized peonies. A greenhouse ceremony. Golden antlers. If you aren’t sold yet, I don’t know what else I can tell you. Trinity (a wedding photographer in her own right) and Kermit’s Pennsylvania wedding is the ultimate show-stopper, full of so much goodness you’ll have to revisit it time and again just to fully absorb it. Thank you to Lauren Fair Photography for sharing your images with us!
From the bride, Trinity: Our main focus was to be present, enjoy every moment of our day and create a truly unique wedding that reflected us. Being a wedding photographer myself, I knew exactly what I wanted and what to avoid. We were lucky to work with amazing friends/vendors and we planned a dream wedding in just 4 months. We love the woods so we created a whimsical enchanted forest theme complete with little woodland fairy flower girls, gold dipped feathers, golden antlers, moss, raw cut wood and I fell in love with the magic of glitter – transforming ordinary objects into sparkly goodness. It was important for us to have everything custom and handmade.
I entered the vintage glass greenhouse on a cloud of fog creating such an ethereal feel while Lindsey Stirling’s Crystallize played (violin and dubstep). We surprised each other with our wedding bands which really added a lot of mystery, excitement, and raw emotion. We wanted our reception to feel like a house party. We had a wonderful pot-luck reception served on vintage china… it made our family and friends feel like they were truly part of our celebration. We danced on a cloud/fog, partied with glowsticks (I love them!) and had a special performance from my talented husband, Kermit (K-Frog). I encourage other couples to remember the reason you’re getting married in the first place, not to stress about the details, and create a day that you won’t look back and have regrets… most of all.. just relax and enjoy!

Gotta love a fog machine! 🙂
Such a rustic feel to this wedding and the eclectic use of colours is so perfectly in theme with the beauty of this woodland wedding.
I LOVE their greenhouse ceremony!
This was by far the most beautiful wedding I have ever seen and been a part of. The entire week was full of fun and laughter and crafts with everyone involved. Trinity and Kermit were stress-free and it led right into the big day. With the help of awesome family and friends, the day was beautiful and the Woodland theme took you deep into the forest to witness the perfect couple become one. Everything from the entrance of the fairies to the beautiful bride strolling in with the fog , something straight out of the enchanted forest. Trinity and Kermit ENJOYED their day with all of their family and friends and it led deep into the night with dancing with props and more fog and neon inspired moves. The video is a glimpse into the most magical wedding EVER!
Wow that is an unusual wedding…the setting appears out of a tale or two of fantasy… a great amount of work must have gone into creating all the detail and it all works… just surprised that I didn’t see a giant white rabbit rushing, late for the ceremony or a few hobbits lurking in the background. Lots of lovely touches and beautifully photographed. One to remember.
This is beyond beautiful! I love the mix of rustic, vintage and whimsy – and the amazing lighting. Lauren is a rock star!
So fun and whimsical! I’ve never thought to use a fog machine at a wedding – what an entrance!
