Waterside Wedding in Thailand with Floral Inspiration
Okay classic-loving brides, this one’s for you. With a clean color palette of all-white, this chic waterside wedding in Thailand has no shortage of inspiring floral arrangements by IAMFLOWER. Photographed by Sandra Aberg and planned by The Wedding Bliss Thailand, Nicholas and Reaw’s wedding will stand the test of time.
From the wedding stylists and planners, The Wedding Bliss Thailand: When it comes to love, nothing is rational and everything is beautiful. Nicholas and Reaw had only known each other for less than a year when they decided to get married. Seeing them together, it’s easy to realize they’re perfect for each other: strong personalities, aim for perfection, and passion for life. They share their interests in life, which among everything else includes traveling and exploring new places, good food and good wine.
The decor was intended to be classy and sophisticated, yet it had to reflect couple’s personalities: light, elegant and simple. As their favourite color, white, played a lead, and the right combination of luxurious Phalaenopsis, native thai orchids and imported greens made a dreamy setting. The altar was made of lush flower arrangements on transparent stands, so the flowers seemed to be floating in the air. The bride’s look was fully created by her mother, a talented designer, who has been making outfits for her daughter since she was little. Rings were also custom-made. This fact made Nicholas and Reaw’s personal wedding ceremony even more so touching, and when they said their vows to each other, we’re almost sure there was not a dry eye there.
Dinner decor supported the main concept as well. Attention focus was definitely on the heavy floral chandeliers, — a magical creation of the florists’ team, that made all the guests to say wow. Gorgeous Phalaenopsis orchids were the key element in all arrangements continuing the decor line set from the ceremony. We kept the structure and draping very light to let more air into the area. Fairy lights only added to this visionary scene, and the area looked truly magical under the moonlit sky. We added a touch of sophistication with a mirror seating plan and silver accents in table setting.
