Styled Social NYC: Velvet Rose
All hail the plush velvet and sprawling plumes in today’s monochromatic pink wedding inspiration from our NYC Styled Social for wedding photographers (see part 1 of 3 here)! Bringing rose-colored details and modern floral stems to the forefront, this creative collaboration was all about romance. Especially once you glimpse the high-end wedding fashion with all the glitz + glamour of the red carpet – read on to see what we mean!
With dreamy fine art imagery, Kylee Yee transports us to another world where boring is left at the door. That word isn’t even in her vocabulary.
Nor is it in Michelle Elaine’s, the designer behind this mesmerizing city wedding inspiration cast with a light blush haze.
You’d never know this wasn’t shot in floral Heaven, what with the cloud-like install crafted by the talented team at Designs by Ahn. Can we revisit these images always for our daily pursuit of pretty?
Clear glass candlestick holders, rosy textured chargers, white handled utensils and that rose + gold stemware you have your eye on everytime you walk into an Anthro were the courtesy of Borrowed Blu. Why isn’t there such a thing as an anniversary registry?!
For the bride’s designer wedding gown, nothing short of the “Octavia” from Theia Couture would do. Oh, how we just adore the illusion tulle, beaded bodice and flowy skirt!
With glass-grid windows, exposed white brick and an open air ambiance, The Foundry was the perfect rooftop wedding venue for this cotton candy pink soiree.
Is there such a thing as being too obsessed with calligraphy design? If so, we might be dangerously close after seeing the calligraphed marble place cards and vibrant pink invitation suites from Write Pretty For Me.
Now let’s pause to appreciate the oval morganite halo engagement ring, “Rosalie,” from Evorden. We’ve got a thing for delicate fine jewelry. Their flat edge wedding bands in gold aren’t too shabby either!
A modern wedding style calls for a slight err from tradition in the groom attire too, don’t you think? And we reckon no style is sharper or classier than the Midnight Blue Tuxedo by The Black Tux which looks perfect all year round.
Dish Food & Events provided not only the colorful hors d’oeuvres, but also the bubbles + fizz. With brilliance across the taste, creativity and presentation, this caterer is a triple threat!
Did you know there was a Queen of sugar flowers? Okay, maybe we just made that up. But you have to admit that this flower-adorned stack from Nine Cakes deserves all the accolades.
MG Hair & Makeup gave the bride a classic half-up, half-down hairstyle with a bit of volume and wave that we are totally digging. Not to mention her subtle smoky eye!
And La Tavola Fine Linen will always fulfill every velvet lover’s dream.
