Styled Social Dallas: Modern Mother Nature
Who said Mondays have to be the blues? Today, it’s all about the greens! We’re having the time of our lives scrolling through this gallery from one of our longtime Ruffled members at our recent Styled Social in Dallas (see two more earth-inspired editorials from our Texas photoshoots here and here). An abundance of wispy greens and aged farmhouse wood dance with modern showstoppers like a bridal gown with wings, a watercolor mural backdrop and sugary pleated ruffles decorating an entire cake tier. So yeah, you’re in for a visual treat. Ready to get started?
Jessica Uccello for Courtney Hanson Photography captures light and life in the midst of this industrial loft space. And we are HERE FOR IT!
We simply can’t choose a favorite element… everything Gold Dust Event Co did was magic!
Pampas reigned supreme in 2018, and with the artful tanglings R Love Floral incorporated here, we’re pretty sure we’ll keep seeing more of these feathery blooms looking forward too!
Vintage wood chairs and a rustic farmhouse trestle from Coral Lane set the stage for this intimate reception, while authentic white china and mixed green goblets from Pretty Little Plates had us eager to begin a midsummer’s night feast.
Brik proves yet again to be a phenomenal wedding space with its open-air ambiance, natural light and exposed brick interiors.
Shimmery fabrics threaded together with some serious skill by Naama & Anat Couture… Elsa, is this what your summer wardrobe looks like?! Well let it go, cause we’d like to try it on, please!
In case you’re wondering, and you should be, The Blushing Bride is the Frisco bridal boutique where you can find this glistening gem!
Speaking of gems, isn’t this antique engagement ring from EraGem an actual masterpiece? With subtle, but significant emerald stones along the band, we’re in full-on swoon mode.
We are living for this soft updo with a smoky eye that Meagan Bechtel gave our stunning bride.
And since we’re being honest, I’d like to bring up the fact I now have a daily dependence on glimpsing these velvet ring boxes from Voue du Couer.
Let’s be honest. This mural from Minted made you do a double take, right? It sure did for us! The perfect complement to the modern watercolor invitation suite they also provided with a rhapsody of greens from mint to seafoam to meadowlands.
Our guests all walked away with some spankin’ new ballet flats from Rescue Flats as seen on the Pick-A-Pair bar here! Take it from us, these shoes are a girl’s (and partygoer’s) best friend.
The cherry on top? This pretty little cake from Crumb & Kettle with soft pleated ruffles to mimic the look of bark from a tree…. LOVE the detail!
Curious to see how it all came together? Splendor Films put together this fabulous video giving you a peek at some of the other editorials from Styled Social Dallas that have been featured on Ruffled, as well as the Pick-a-Pair Wall for our attendees featuring stylish Rescue Flats they could shoot comfortably in throughout the day!
We’re gearing up for our next Styled Socials where wedding photographers will have the opportunity to shoot a full-scale editorial like this one, produced by us and designed by a team of handpicked local vendors. We’d love to see you there, so click on each location below for more details!
