Sophisticated Lake Placid Wedding with a Peplum Gown
Lake Placid is a dream location for elegant weddings – just ask newlyweds Allison and Brennan. Bride Allison works in the fashion industry, and her keen eye for style shows through in her choice of Carolina Herrera for her wedding gown. The Light + Color was behind the camera, Renaissance Floral Design took care of the lush flowers, and the day was a home-run.
From the photographer, The Light + Color: Allison and Brennan’s early winter wedding at Lake Placid Lodge was such a breath of fresh air. It’s always refreshing to see someone make November so beautiful. Allison works in NYC in the fashion industry and her stunning Carolina Herrera gown had the most graceful, gorgeous lace sleeves. Allison didn’t stop there though, and had a costume change late in the evening into a slim-cut Herve Leger bandage dress. Their intimate ceremony was held on the heated deck overlooking Lake Placid, the intimate setting was complete with vintage rugs, and cozy blankets for all the guests.
