Seasonally Inspired Wedding Flowers With A Goddess of Spring Bridal Look
Today’s fresh and verdant gallery featuring seasonally inspired wedding flowers and an ethereal spring bridal look has us soaking up the sunlight (and sense of new beginnings that always comes with a new year). Moss and Stone Floral Design orchestrated the most unique garden-style floral arrangements using blooms plucked straight from heaven in this timeless film gallery from Hannah Duffy Photography. From the deckle edged paperie and the flourishing courtyard table to the delicate bridal gown and petal adorned cake, The Timeless Stylist conceptualized each design moment to perfection, while staying true to the poem by Ariel Miles which served as muse. See for yourself in this stunning gallery below!
From the Designer, Amy of The Timeless Stylist: This editorial was inspired by a poem entitled Spring Love:
“I still remember the sweetest things that you’ve ever said to me because it’s so relaxing & beautiful
that only your words can compare
like I can really sit & reminisce as if you were standing right there Every beautiful flower
only compliments your looks
& their sweet scent
like the thought of you
will forever have me hooked
& even when 1 day ends
as morning fades to night
it reminds me of when I first met & you used to wink at me
I smile & wink back
our love is like the spring.”
By Ariel Miles
Colours, textures & details:
The palette was a base of neutrals with some hints of gentle petrol blue, inspired by the paintwork at Boconnoc, along with the greys of the buildings. We also brought in some dusky pink shades to add some context and depth and to depict the various shades of Spring. We softened the look with textures by layering from chiffon, linens & silks.
Styling:
The key here was to depict everything that Spring brings – gentle awakening, fresh starts, soft skies and buds and shoots of beautiful flowers. The styling needed to be simple for this, with a nod towards a gentle elopement in Cornwall. We used organic, unstructured blooms and old world elements with a nod towards the beautiful stately home property. The love of the couple needed to shine through.
Oh, how we adore this refined European celebration with the most darling seasonally inspired wedding flowers. Just goes to show that Mother Earth and all her natural glory is forever the best source of inspiration! Exhibit B? All these wild + wispy floral designs to continue the theme of untamed beauty.
