Santorini Magical Wedding

Nestled on the sun-kissed cliffs overlooking the sparkling Aegean Sea, the Cavo Ventus Luxury Villa stands as a testament to the magical blend of architectural magnificence and breathtaking natural beauty. Courtney and Jay’s Santorini magical wedding, meticulously planned by the visionary team at Ever After Days, was a 3-day event filled with fun activities with their 35 guests. Every corner of this casually opulent wedding exudes a sense of grandeur, and to capture its essence in all its glory, the lens of Phosart Photography was brought to life.

Jay and I have been together for 9 years and have always shared a deep sense of curiosity and sense of wonder of what the world has to offer. We’ve lived in 3 different cities and we now call Toronto, Canada home.

After years of patiently waiting for Jay to propose, he finally shocked me with an absolute dream proposal. On Wednesday, August 13th, 2020, I came home from work and was completely shocked when he asked me to marry him with a “pack your bags” twist as he had planned for us to leave for Santorini, Greece just 12 hours later. After having the most magical engagement and engagement trip it was only fitting that we landed in Santorini again to officially tie the knot.

With intimacy and quality time as a focus for our destination wedding, we invited 35 of our closest friends and family to the stunning Cavo Ventus Luxury Villa in Santorini for a three-day event. It started with a welcome cocktail party in Thira and ended with a post-wedding Catamaran for all of our guests.

Our picturesque ceremony featured a live pianist and a mirrored aisle with flower garlands lining both sides and a huge traditional floral arch. With such a beautiful venue we knew wanted the florals to feel romantic and grand. Our dinner was cliffside with breathtaking views of the caldera. We went with a single long table to fit all of our guests for a 4-course dinner followed by our cake cutting, accompanied by a saxophonist and fireworks.

We danced the night away and couldn’t have had a more picturesque, perfectly executed wedding in Santorini.

Our photos and videos are a perfect reflection of our special day and tell a beautiful story which is why we wanted to share them with you.
