Cairnwood Estate Wedding
Today’s wedding from Love Me Do Photography is the perfect breath of fresh air. Newlyweds Janelle and Dave planned much of their wedding around the elegance of their venue, the astoundingly gorgeous Cairnwood in Pennsylvania. Add a few Geronimo Balloons for a touch of whimsy, and you’ve got one winner of a wedding day!
From the bride, Janelle: Dave and I met at work, and we are both oncology nurses; therefore, we quickly realized the importance of love and family. Being together has been one of life’s greatest blessings, and we would love to share our wedding with you and other couples! Dave and I wanted our wedding to be timeless, romantic, and us! A lot of our inspiration was from other weddings featured on Ruffled! We both love vintage and romantic style weddings without the “typical” wedding cheese. Most of all, we wanted an intimate affair where we could openly and honestly celebrate our love.
We decided on Cairnwood because it had amazing flexibility. We were able to have gorgeous outdoor photos, outdoor ceremony and cocktail, intimate indoor dinner, and drinks and dancing in the library with an outdoor terrace! It is a beautiful wedding venue and most of our aesthetic was based on the vibe of the venue. In addition to the venue, many of our wedding vendors helped shape the aesthetic through their uniqueness and creativity. I adore all of our vendors, and they made the planning process easy and enjoyable!
For future brides, my advice is to follow your heart, stay true to yourselves as a couple, and do not listen to anyone’s negativity! Also, the week of the wedding forget all of the planning and relax with your soon to be husband! The week of the wedding and specifically, the rehearsal dinner and hours before the wedding, were the most special, serene, and memorable moments of our relationship. On the day of the wedding, relax and enjoy every special moment!

I absolutely love how this wedding included so many unique details. The bride’s garter is FABULOUS, and I just adore the apothecary bottle garland. Beautiful shots, Love Me Do, and amazing job to all the vendors — and biiiiig congrats to a lovely couple!
