Romantic Philadelphia Wedding
One look at the incredible floral designs from 7Textures, and you’re bound to fall in love. Bride Rose mixed the soft aesthetic of the flowers with the rich and classic architecture of Philadelphia’s College of Physicians for a look that kept us guessing and simultaneously smitten. Thank you Redfield Photography for sharing your images!
From the bride, Rose: The great architecture and rich finishes of our venue were definitely a source of inspiration and served as a wonderful backdrop for our event. We aimed for a classic and romantic feel, with lots of whimsy and fun. We tried to always think about our guests during the planning process, and made sure to never take ourselves or the event too seriously.
Justin and I took about 10 minutes to ourselves right after the ceremony. We admired our new jewelry and had some quiet time to relax and really take everything in before heading out to all of our friends, family, and the awesome party awaiting us. For the most part, we trusted in our great vendors to execute our vision, but we couldn’t let the day go by without having our hand in a few DIY projects. I designed the printed goods (menus, invitations, save the dates, programs), and tapped my sister’s incredible talents for illustration duties. Justin and I designed our wedding website and he did the dirty work writing the code to bring it to life.
