Romantic Countryside New Hampshire Wedding

Burgundy and pink are a match made in heaven, and the berry tones found in Li and Chhay’s wedding make wonderful use of the colors! Their New Hampshire wedding in the country, photographed by Bella Wang Photography and put together by mStarr design and Emily Herzig Floral Studio, was a beautiful day full of personal details and cultural traditions, like the placement of pomegranates at each place setting. Let’s take a look!

From the wedding designer, mStarr design: Li + Chhay live in San Francisco but with Li having grown up in New Hampshire and wanting to provide a “country escape” experience for many of their urban guests, it took months to find the right venue for Li + Chhay… and we found it in a Christmas tree farm! it’s a stunning venue high up in the hills of New Hampshire with various locations to hold your ceremony + reception. the ceremony took place near the rows of future Christmas trees with 360 views of the mountains and a more beautiful spot you couldn’t find! the entire property is tailor made for photos and provided ample locations to choose from for the rest of the wedding.

Knowing they wanted a fall wedding, bold color was important as were incorporating cultural traditions {pomegranates that symbolize unity + fertility} and music + dance inspired details {Chhay is a DJ and they got engaged with the help of a flash mob!}. despite the rural setting, Li + Chhay also wanted to treat their guests to a traditional New England clambake…complete with custom lobster bibs!

In the end, we crafted a vibrant, seasonal celebration with lush florals, saturated colors, and meaningful details that really told Li + Chhay’s story. Some of our favorite details included the “love is a rhythm” decal for the dance floor, the head table which was accented with seasonal fruits, and the hanging escort display.
