Peach and Copper Garden Inspired Wedding in Los Altos
There’s nothing we love more than bright splashes of color, and this garden inspired wedding has it in mass! We are smitten to say the least with the spirited, yet cozy ambiance in a secluded patio – even more so with bright festooning of petals throughout. Botany is celebrated in all the details, from the table linens down to the bride’s drippy earrings and goodness, is it a treat to behold! So mentally prepare yourself now for greatness – you just might lose any typical Monday blues after seeing Caroline and Matthew’s inspo-packed love affair.
San Francisco wedding planner and longtime Ruffled member, Riley Loves Lulu, knows how to make a grand reveal. And if you need further validation, just wait till you see the way the greenery canopied tunnel leads out into a peach + copper dream post-ceremony!
From the planner, Jessica Gauss of Riley Loves Lulu: Caroline and Matthew wanted their wedding to feel comfortable and intimate. Matthew’s style was more traditional with the church ceremony being incredibly important to him. We kept the paper materials and signage for the ceremony clean and formal to reflect the seriousness of the occasion and his classic tastes. Caroline loves a bright splash of color which we really had fun with at the reception. Los Altos History Museum is a gorgeous brick garden so we really ran with the garden vibes with vibrant floral linen and lots of colors- from peach to coral to a bright splash of yellow with copper touches throughout. We did a mix of kings and rounds with different styling to break up space since it is a very linear patio and even had different menu cards for the two styles of tables to complement the linen. Even though dancing was inside we left space in the center of the dining area so we could incorporate special dances into the dinner. The result was the feel of a beautiful backyard wedding.
Now if botanical weddings like this fuel your fire, check out this pretty little soiree with a more muted palette.
