Outdoor grove weddings are about as picturesque as they come, but when you add cascading blooms in cranberry, pink and cream hues, you have yourself a major visual treat. Kylie and Alex wed beneath a canopy of twisty trees and sunshine, and their style didn’t miss a beat as far as greenery was concerned. The fashion across the board would make even Miranda Priestly grin (but are we really surprised – this is Texas after all!), and we’re truly touched by the contagious joy emitted from these images by Brittany Jean Photography.

From the bride, Kylie: When planning our wedding, Alex and I both wanted to make sure it represented us as a couple. Every decision was easy because we agreed on exactly how we wanted our wedding to feel- relaxed, intentional, and tons of fun, because that’s been the story of our relationship. We started as best friends, and continue to grow closer and have more fun together every day with the best support group of family and friends. The people in our lives mean so much to us, so we really focused on our guests and wanted to make sure everyone would have a great time.

We knew we wanted an outdoor ceremony, and the second we stepped onto the grounds of the Addison Grove, there was no going back. From the grove of trees with longhorns in the pasture (hook ‘em!) to the modern barn with grand chandeliers, this place yelled our names. The rustic yet elegant feel of the venue definitely set the tone for the style of the wedding. I went with dusty yet romantic colors and kept centerpieces simple with greenery and gold accents. Our florist captured what we wanted better than we could have imagined. We wanted to keep the wedding true to us and the city we fell in love in, so serving Salt Lick BBQ, local Austin craft beers and replacing wedding cake with Amy’s Ice Cream were no-brainers. Alex, the groom, even made corn hole boards to go along with other lawn games for guests to play during cocktail hour. We couldn’t stop smiling the whole day, especially when looking around and seeing all our favorite people together in one gorgeous barn.
