Our Newborn Session!

If you follow us on Instagram, you may have heard the news! Last month Matt and I welcomed our little girl Luna, and we couldn’t be more in love with her. A few days after she was born, Jaine of brklyn view photography came to our home to capture her first days of life. To keep it from posting every single one from the session, here are some of our favorites:

I highly, highly recommend having a newborn session and photos taken as a family. I ran out of time deciding whether to have a maternity session done, but did not want to miss having photos of my little one right after she was born. We chose the image below for our birth announcements. Since we kept the gender a surprise, these foil-pressed birth announcements from Minted were perfect. The silver foil also matches her nursery wall (more on that soon!). We had a metallic silver thing going since the beginning, so it was a cute way to tie it all.

Minted has a neat feature called Find it Fast, where you upload the photo you’d like to use in the cards and it gives you a preview of all designs using that photo. It makes it so much easier to filter our the designs you love, especially since there are so many precious designs to choose from. Check them out.
