Mountaintop Wedding in New Zealand

From head to toe, this wedding captures the fall season in New Zealand to perfection. Jesse Pafundi of Golden Hour Studios captured Jeni and James’ wedding atop the beautiful mountains of Wanaka, which provided endless amounts of picturesque views and portraits the couple will be sure to cherish for decades to come.

From the bride, Jeni: We wanted adventure, outdoors yet classical with bright fall colours and leaves blowing in the wind over bright green hills with beautiful lakes surrounding. Bright oranges, reds, yellows. The Groom’s mother made her own jams as the guest favours and the bride decorated each bottle with handmade stickers. I wanted it to look like I had walked through a garden and picked my own bouquet. We used Long Stems and Baby’s Breath wrapped in autumn leaves.

Any advice for couples planning their weddings now? Take your time to enjoy the process. It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity and all the little details matter as you look around on your wedding night to enjoy all of your hard work!
