Lush Jewel Toned Wedding With Late Night Tacos
Diana and Rob’s lush jewel toned wedding is living proof that the best things in life involve tacos. Well, tacos, modern metallics and a whole lot of flowers! Brittany Jean Photography captured all these lovely details and more in the enchanting gallery below. You’re sure to pause at every single frame! With a strong presence of garden-style flora from Native Bloom Floral, our hearts are skipping a beat from the floral hoop ceremony backdrop to the petal bedecked chandeliers suspended over the reception. Each and every detail was thoughtfully curated by Eclipse Event Co., and we can’t help but feel the magic in the air that kept the dance floor packed all night! Read on to see all the modern glam goodness of this Texas Hill Country wedding in full.
Diana and Rob knew from Day One that they wanted their wedding to feel experiential, bold and FUN! It needed to look sharp but also be an absolute blast. The couple, who met while both working in New York City and relocated to Austin, created a destination wedding for most of their guests. The bride’s family was all coming in from South Texas while the Groom’s was all from New York. Their guests stayed in Downtown Austin where they had a Welcome Party at a Trendy Mexican Food Restaurant and then were bussed out on the wedding day to Wimberley, TX, about an hour away.
They wanted it to be Modern and Elegant but more so to have each portion of the wedding to have it’s own personality:
- The Ceremony was to be Hill Country Glam. We prioritized floral structures here even through the trees were big a beautiful, the couple wanted as big of a visual punch as possible when the guests arrived.
- The Cocktail Hour was to be laid back Hill County with more backyard vibes. There were several Boho Chic lounges here in addition to lawn games.
- Reception was modern, bold and beautiful. A large all white dance floor to match the white stage facade. Gold chairs for the head table and greenery (to play up the hill country location) for the backdrop of the band as well as hanging from the chandeliers.
The experiential component was dialed up in reception when ladies were treated to soft slippers from the Bride and everyone had at least two parties favors: maracas, glowing head pieces, glowing sticks and more! The couple also brought in a Taco Food truck for late night snacks where everyone got to order from the window. They also made it point to add 1.5 hours on to the reception at the beginning of their planning because they wanted everyone to Party as much as possible. About 80% of the 240 guests stayed until the very end!
The mother of the Bride was a big part of the design as well, giving the wedding a dialed up elegant look with more and more floral added as we went along 🙂 Even after the Sparkler Send Off, guests took the buses back to downtown Austin and continued to party with the couple (and their Parents!) on Rainy Street!
